Formulations about return, repetition, and chance make it possible to conceive a correspondence among the stories of all human beings. Seeking empathy among different microcosms, the exhibition blurs the lines between reality and fiction through the exchanges performed in the Chirology Salon. To offer a personal story in exchange for the reading of one’s own destiny creates a bond of intimacy whose susceptibility resides in the interpretation of the information yielded. These fragments of experience are interwoven to make new stories, a sort of documented fiction by word of mouth.

On the other hand, as catalysts of memory, objects call forth their own histories. This call is translated by the references and memories of those claiming to know them, generating a reading that goes beyond use and functionality. The search for stories articulates a trip through Colombia, which culminate in a travel logbook of images, texts, and sounds. Based on a blind faith in the collective memory, an itinerary of artistic production emerges out of the clues provided by local residents. In the end, the presence of the initial objects is no longer physical, but rather reconstructed out of the traces of history contained in the new objects.
